As of June 2022, the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Vision Center and Optical Shop has closed. WashU employees and their dependents enrolled in the VSP plan benefit can search online for an in-network provider by following the steps below.
The Department of Opthalmology and Visual Sciences at the School of Medicine will continue to provide medical screening/management or surgery of eye conditions, diseases or injuries. These services are billed as in-network medical eye care for employees and their dependents enrolled in the UnitedHealthcare medical plan.
