WashU’s Recruitment Career Advancement Lead offers guidance and job search support to partners of newly hired faculty and senior-level staff relocating to the St. Louis region. You can rest assured you’ll receive assistance and help empowering partners in their job search endeavors.
Services provided:
- Assists job seekers in navigating the application and hiring processes at WashU
- Provides resources and tools to assist job seekers in their external job searches beyond the university
- Meets with job seekers to discuss their employment history, understand their desired position, and identify their preferred industry
- Offers guidance on general job search techniques, including utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed, as well as other job boards and professional associations
- Facilitates networking opportunities with local employers by building relationships with human resources recruitment professionals in the St. Louis region
- Connects jobs seekers with HR recruiters and hiring managers within WashU if they wish to explore opportunities with the university
- Resume review/interviewing skills assessment/job search strategies
