Call for Musicians for the School of Medicine Winter Concert

The ninth annual Winter Concert will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Center for Advanced Medicine.

As before, soloists and ensembles, including vocalists and instrumentalists, of all musical genres are welcome to sign-up. Students, faculty, and staff of Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Saint Louis Children’s Hospital, and the Goldfarb School of Nursing are all encouraged to participate.

To give you an idea about the range of musical styles and performance levels from previous concerts, here is a link to footage from our 2018 concert:

We would like to include as many musicians as possible within our 90-minute timeframe, so the length of each performance should be less than 10 minutes.

Please contact Bradley Fritz at bafritz@wustl.edu as soon as possible and no later than December 6, 2019, with the piece you would like to perform and its approximate length.

Based on previous experience, we will be able to accommodate about a dozen pieces or so into the Winter Concert, so if you would like to perform, please respond as soon as you can before the slots fill up.

This event is organized by Bradley Fritz from the WUSM Department of Anesthesiology, Sarah Colby from the BJH Arts + Healthcare Program, and Natalie Kingston from the WUSM Arts Commission.

If you’re interested in performing at the School of Medicine Winter Concert, please contact Bradley Fritz by December 6.
