The Department of Psychiatry hosted a lunch hour virtual Open Forum on January 23, 2023 entitled “Winter Blues and Boundaries”. This event was facilitated by Washington University providers Alicia Ott, LPC; Dr. Jessica Gold; and Krista Jarvis, LPC. The discussion covered topics such as: 

• What happens in the brain in winter.
• The symptoms and treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder.
• What boundaries are and how to set and maintain them.
• Techniques and strategies for coping with seasonal stressors.
