Advice from Mark S. Wrighton to New Employees
Chancellor Mark Wrighton spoke with staff at a recent Chat with the Chancellor event. Wrighton was asked, “What advice do you have for a new employee?”
Wrighton said to “be proactive about opportunities that come your way. Join a committee where you can meet interesting people in our campus community. In your first days, think of the positive things you enjoy, and also make a constructive suggestion. Respond to the opportunities you have now.”
