Trainings, Tools and Resources
Manager Orientation
Three hours of employee relations training for new or newly promoted supervisors of staff. Managers should take this encouraged training and can then sign up for Manager 101 trainings.

Manager 101 Trainings
A series of classes designed to provide in depth training to WashU employees in managerial and/or supervisory roles. Register by for individuals courses through Workday by searching for “Manager 101”.
Community of Practice
This monthly series is for employees who are external to Central HR but may act a as liaison to a dept. or school.

The Employee Relations Team – How we help
The Employee Relations team works on behalf of all employees to help ensure positive working relationships throughout the University. Employee relations professionals offer faculty and staff a wealth of support, including consultation, policy guidance, conflict resolution and training to facilitate a mutually respectful work environment for all. In addition, the Employee Relations team functions as the primary area for investigating Human Resources’ policy violations and reviewing employee concerns.
