New managers or newly promoted managers are encouraged to attend manager orientation (MO) within 90 days of their hire date or promotion date. They will receive a Workday notification to enroll in the course on their hire date or promotion date in Workday, and can choose to participate in one of the two available options:
- One full-day in-person session is offered every other month; or
- Two consecutive half-day virtual sessions are offered every month.
MO will include presentations on compensation practices; equity, diversity and inclusion practices; employee relations topics, such as policies, mandatory compliance and regulations; best practices for recruitment; professional growth; a Workday overview; HR Operations and people data management, and more.

Newly hired staff managers are also encouraged to attend the staff new employee orientation (NEO) session, including online compliance training, within 30 days of hire. They can register for both NEO and MO in Workday Learning. View Assigned and Recommended Content in Workday Learning for step-by-step enrollment instructions. To receive course completion, virtual attendees are required to attend both consecutive days (day 1 and 2) and must attend each day from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT.
