Solicitation and Distribution Policy

To avoid disruption of operations, the following rules apply to solicitations and the distribution of literature on the property of Washington University.
- Persons not employed or otherwise authorized by the university are prohibited from soliciting funds or signatures, distributing literature or gifts, offering to sell merchandise or services or engaging in any other solicitations or similar activity on university property.
- With the exception of university-sanctioned activities, employees may not solicit during work time, may not distribute literature during work time or in work areas, and may not use the university’s e-mail system for non-job-related solicitations or distributions.
- Prohibited Content: Posting content that is deemed by the University to be in violation of university policies, including the university Discrimination and Harassment Policy and the University Student Conduct Code, is prohibited and may subject the organization or individual to disciplinary action.
