Retention of Application Materials

All documents generated during and related to the recruitment and selection process must be maintained for two (2) years. This includes, but is not limited to, electronic and hard copies of applications, resumes, interview notes, screening tests/results, references, and background screenings. Please note that documents stored in university systems are backed up and maintained automatically. Certain documentation (such as the offer letter, job application, reference checks, etc.) will need to be retained in the worker’s electronic personnel file for any new hire that results from the recruitment process.
