Interviews

All questions asked in an interview must be job-related and designed to help the interviewer identify the best-qualified candidate for the position. In some instances, a supervisor may wish to conduct an initial telephone screen to determine whether to proceed to an interview.  Questions should be prepared in advance of the actual interview, should involve a standard set of questions and, when possible, be conducted by the same person.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible interview process for all individuals. Applicants requiring accommodations during the interview process are encouraged to notify the hiring manager and/or Recruitment so necessary arrangements to meet their needs can be made.

The Manager Hub contains sample acceptable and unacceptable interview questions, Recruitment contacts, and other helpful resources to assist managers and supervisors with the interview and selection processes. Recruiters are available to assist in designing and developing interview questions specific to the position.
