Participants who attend this session will:
- Explore the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and identify habits that may be impeding their effectiveness and develop strategies to overcome them
- Learn practical strategies to implement these habits in your personal and professional life to enhance effectiveness
- Identify ways to be foster self-awareness, cultivate team collaboration, and enhance leadership capabilities to inspire others
Facilitator: Carla D. Bailey, ECCP, MBA, Director of Human Resources Learning and Development
As the director of Washington University’s human resources, learning and development, Carla is responsible for setting the strategic direction, developing, and delivering University-wide leadership, management, and professional development programs associated with enhancing leaders’ and employees’ capabilities, organizational culture, and personal and professional effectiveness. For more than three decades, Carla has been helping organizations and leaders achieve their full potential- coaching, facilitating, and speaking on transformational leadership development. Carla is a certified executive and leadership coach with a B.S. in Organizational Management, an M.A. in Leadership and Organizational Development, and an MBA from Washington University Olin Business School.

No-Show and Late Cancellation Fees: Cancellations received less than five (5) business days prior to scheduled class will result in a $50 cancellation fee charged to their department. If you’re no longer able to attend, please drop your registration in Workday Learning.
