This course is a part of the “Mind Your Growth” mini-series, a set of dynamic 60-minute sessions designed to equip you with fresh in-demand skills just in time for the new year. Whether you’re looking to grow your leadership capabilities, boost your professional toolkit, prepare for new opportunities, or kick-start a new habit, these sessions are tailored to support your personal and professional development goals.

Course Description:

Building your relationship with your mentor is similar to the job search– you want to make sure it’s the right fit. It’s important to put time, effort and focus into cultivating and growing this relationship. Mentors can be an invaluable part of your career progression. After all, they say successful people have mentors. They can serve to guide you, provide encouragement and connect you with professional contacts and more. In this session, you will learn best practices to Develop Your Mentor Matching Process for establishing a long-term relationship throughout your life and career.

Audience: This class is for all Washington University in St. Louis staff employees (Leading Self, Others, or the Organization )

No-Show and Late Cancellation Fees:  Cancellations received less than five (5) business days prior to scheduled class will result in a $50 cancellation fee charged to their department. If you’re no longer able to attend, please drop your registration in Workday Learning.
