Your mindset can significantly impact your success and resilience. By understanding and applying a growth mindset, you can transform your behavior and make intentional choices in your approach to challenges, feedback, and continuous learning. People with a growth mindset achieve ever-higher levels of performance and unlock their potential by embracing the process of improvement and fostering a proactive approach to personal and professional development.

In this course, participants will explore the transformative work of psychologist Carol Dweck and learn to recognize key characteristics associated with a growth mindset. Participants will also learn practical strategies for developing and applying these characteristics to transform their beliefs about learning and intelligence.

Participants will learn to:

  • Define growth mindset
  • Recognize key characteristics associated with a fixed mindset, distinguishing them from a growth mindset
  • Understand how mindset influences individual behavior, learning, and responses to challenges
  • Recognize and transform fixed mindset self-talk into growth-oriented affirmations, cultivating a more optimistic and resilient mindset
  • Develop strategies to foster a growth mindset culture within their teams or workplaces, encouraging collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning
