Benefits Chit Chat (Min. 30 minutes): Representatives from Human Resources will provide a high-level overview of employee health and welfare offerings, retirement plan, wellness initiatives and other employment benefits. Navigating United Healthcare Tools and Resources (min. 45 minutes): Your WashU United Healthcare Nurse Advocate will present tips for optimizing your medical plan benefits, including how to find a medical or mental health provider and staying on top of preventive care. A Taste of Mindfulness (min. 45 minutes): Offer your team a brief introduction to the concepts of mindfulness and enjoy a practice and discussion with Wellness Consultant, Meg Krejci. MyWay to Health (min. 30 minutes): Hear from WashU-trained behavior change experts and registered dietitians on a variety of topics, including eating healthy, meal planning, weight management, physical activity, stress and sleep hygiene. Wellness Roadshow: A table staffed by the WashU Well-being team in your workplace where employees can drop by to learn about our programs and discuss how to become a Wellness Champion. Annual Health Screening: Wellness Champions can request a dedicated health screening event for their co-workers in their building. A minimum of 50 people must participate in the event and an 8-week notice is required to provide adequate staffing. Champions can collaborate to include eligible employees from other departments in their building to meet the participation minimum. Sumers Rec Center Tour & Well-Being Retreat (30 mins – 2 hours): Offer your team an opportunity to step away together for a guided, intention-driven retreat at Sumers Rec Center. The program may include various fitness classes such as sound healing, yoga, cycle as well as well-being workshops or a lunch-and-learn. Financial Well-Being Resources (Min. 15 minutes): Learn about WashU resources to help you assess your financial well-being. This high-level overview will include information on the retirement plan, dependent tuition, and other employment financial wellness benefits. TIAA Financial Consultant: Wellness Champions can request a dedicated day with the TIAA financial consultant to provide 1:1 sessions with coworkers. In-person sessions require at least 8 weeks lead time to schedule. Dedicated events are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Some exceptions may be available if a Champion feels a Monday or Friday would be better for their location. The sessions will typically start at 9 a.m. and each consultant can see a minimum of 6 employees a day. Other (specify below): What is the format for your gathering?
