Changes to the Retirement Savings Plan

As previously communicated in the Fund Change Guide mailed to your home in March, changes were made on May 2 to the investment fund options available in the Washington University Retirement Savings Plan. Now that the changes are in place, we recommend that you go online to review your TIAA account.

If you were invested in funds affected by the changes, your account balance was transferred to the fund(s) that most closely match your previous investment mix. If a close match was not available, your funds were moved to a target date fund based on your date of birth. Future contributions will be invested in the same manner. You may access your TIAA account to change your investment allocation at any time. Confirmations will be sent to you through the communication method you selected with TIAA- electronic or hard copy.
