Planning to retire from Washington University? This transition can be rich with new pathways and opportunities like volunteering, part-time employment, travel, continuing education, hobbies, and much, much more. Yet, you may also have questions: If I’m not an employee, who am I? How do I fill my time? Are my hobbies enough? How do I stay healthy? How do I stay socially connected? What’s most important at this stage in my life, and how can I honor that truth?
If you’re ready to retire or thinking about retiring, we invite you to attend Your Next Chapter: Conversations on Retirement and Beyond, a monthly series of brown-bag, peer-led discussions. We will meet the fourth Tuesday of every month, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., alternating between the Medical and Danforth campuses. Please join us to share your questions, learn more about new directions and resources, hear retiree success stories, and most importantly, connect with others at this important juncture of your life: Your Next Chapter.
This session will be held in the Danforth University Center, Room 239.
