Facilitating effective conversations is an invaluable tool for everyone. In this course, learners will examine core elements of a conversation and discover practical and proven tips for giving your conversations the best chance at being effective. Managers are often involved in conversations that can be challenging, but in every conversation there is opportunity for a productive interaction.
Course Objectives
Participants will learn:
- Tips and tools for communicating effectively during a conversation;
- A model that improves the management of emotions during a conversation;
- Keys for delivering effective and constructive feedback

Audience: This class is for all Washington University in St. Louis leaders and managers who have at least one staff direct report. (Leading Others)
