Wellness Connection

Washington University’s Wellness Connection is a long-standing initiative of the Danforth Campus Office of Human Resources to promote lifestyle changes among staff and faculty through health education. Wellness Connection sponsors seminars on health-related topics that affect university employees, including nutrition, smoking cessation, and stress. In support of the university’s commitment to the wellbeing of its employees, Wellness Connection connects staff and faculty with local organizations offering discounted fitness programs and other resources for healthy living.

2013 Wellness Summer Series

Come to our 2013 Wellness Summer Series. The series consists of 4 different informational sessions that are available to you during your lunch hour! The presenters include: Fleet Feet, Holistic Fitness, Connie Diekman (WUSTL’s Director of Nutrition), and the Clayton Sleep Institute. All presentations will be in the Mallinckrodt Multi-Purpose Room (lower level) from 12:10pm-12:50pm. Your Health Snapshot

It is a pleasure to announce the availability of a free personal and private health risk assessment tool, Your Health Snapshot, developed for the exclusive use of members of the Washington University community. Your Health Snapshot is modeled after Your Disease Risk, created by Graham Colditz, M.D., the Niess-Gain Professor and associate director of Prevention and Control at the Siteman Cancer Center. Quitting smoking and the use of tobacco is difficult. However, more than 47 million have been successful in becoming smoke free, and you can do it too. If you want to quit using tobacco and need assistance, there are a variety of resources to find the help you need. More information
